Aside from being on the cover of a running book and an issue of TIME magazine (sort of), I am a constant student of marketing. A lot of my spare time is spent learning what things are coming next in the industry. More importantly, I try and figure out ways to apply those new tools in practical ways. This blog documents my journey of learning more about marketing and public relations through my opportunities to work with some of the biggest brands in the world including Chick-fil-A, Cisco, Rachael Ray's Nutrish, Snickers Ice Cream, DOVE Ice Cream, Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child and others. I also talk about a few of the non-marketing life lessons I've gathered along the way.

A Western Kentucky graduate (and current national alumni board member), I spent a couple of years cutting my marketing teeth at a B2B company in Chicago before moving to Atlanta to join the social media team at Engauge. After time at Engauge, I eventually took the reins as the current Director of Digital and Social Media at DeMoss, building their digital PR capabilities from the ground up. Now, I'm leading digital marketing at North Highland, spearheading social strategy, marketing automation and digital media campaigns. My wife Megan also works in marketing, currently the associate director of strategy at Morrison. Marketing is definitely a family thing.

Outside of work, marketing and technology, I love spending time with my family, our dog Theo and cat Heisenberg, and being active with Grace Midtown Church - serving God and loving people.
