Hang out with me at SMC ATL Thursday

001855_01_NewsEvent_Social_Media_ClubSocial media crisis management is becoming somewhat of a sweet spot for me. At least from a speaking perspective it's looking that way. A few months ago, @chandlerepp and I talked social crises at SoCon14 with some Airplane! references sprinkled in. This time, it'll be panel style and with fewer clips of Leslie Nielsen. This Thursday I'll be on a panel with Mark Avera (Porter Novelli), Ashley Mowrey (Newell Rubbermaid) and Candace McCaffery (CKM Communications) talking about how to handle social media crises.

To me there are two types of social media marketers out there: those who have been involved in a social crises and those that will eventually be involved in a social crisis. No matter which one you are, it should be a fun event. Plus, tickets are pretty cheap!

The event is being hosted at The Atlanta Tech Village by the Atlanta chapter of Social Media Club. Click over here to the Eventbrite page to register. I'd love to say hey while you're there.
