"Act Locally"

A lot of times, especially this week, it’s hard to not be depressed. It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the bad and feel helpless in that moment. What difference can you make?

I ran across this video clip on LinkedIn of all places. It doesn’t speak to any specific current event but this gives very practical advice on how to change that perspective.

I think that “act locally” advice is incredibly wise. It gives you the ability to control what you can control and inspire little pieces of hope right where you are.

We aren’t Avengers. We can’t save the world in one big courageous battle. But if all of us engaged in tiny acts of goodness helping our own neighbors, that’s something that could scale - and make a difference.
